Privacy Policy

This website is run by LCO Jewelry Nails, a press on nail brand based in the Philippines. Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), we are the personal information controller for everything you share with us here. That means we decide how your information is used, and we answer for it.

We only ask for what we need to run the shop. Depending on what you do on the site, that can include:

• When you order: your name, email address, mobile number and delivery address, including barangay, city and province, plus any landmark or delivery notes and the items you bought.
• When you pay: the payment method you chose, and for a bank transfer, the receipt or reference number you send us. We never see or store card numbers.
• When you create an account: your sign in details, saved addresses, order history and wishlist.
• When you write a review: the name you want shown, your rating and your review. These are published on the product page.
• When you join our list: your email address.
• When you message us: whatever you write. The contact form sends it straight to our inbox and does not store it on this website.
• When you request a custom design: your name and contact details, your notes and budget, and any reference images you upload.
• When you apply to be a reseller: your name, business name, address and contact numbers, the online shops and social pages you sell through, and the business documents you upload, such as a DTI certificate or business permit.
• When you browse: your IP address and basic technical details such as your browser and device, which our hosting and security services record to keep the site running and protected.

• To process, pack, deliver and support your order.
• To send order confirmations, delivery updates and replies to your messages.
• To review custom design requests and reseller applications.
• To send you news and offers, only if you asked to receive them. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To keep the accounting and tax records Philippine law requires.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything you would not reasonably expect from a shop you bought from.

We share your information only with the people who help us serve you, and only what each of them needs:

• Couriers and delivery riders receive your name, mobile number and address so they can deliver your parcel.
• Payment providers process the payment method you choose at checkout.
• Our website host keeps this site online and secure, and handles data on our behalf.
• Our email service delivers order and account emails.
• Government agencies and courts, only when the law requires us to.

Some of these providers store data outside the Philippines. We only work with providers who protect it to a standard comparable to Philippine law, and who may use it only for the job we give them.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We keep them to a minimum.

• Essential. WordPress and WooCommerce set cookies that hold your cart, remember that you are signed in and make checkout work. The shop cannot run without them.
• On your device. If you are not signed in, your browser remembers your wishlist, and whether you closed our offer popup so it does not keep coming back. This stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
• Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address to download them.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at the moment. If we start, this page will say so before they are switched on.

You can clear cookies and stored site data from your browser settings at any time. Doing so signs you out and empties a guest wishlist.

• Orders, invoices and payment records: for as long as Philippine tax and accounting rules require.
• Your account: until you ask us to close it.
• Our mailing list: until you ask to leave it.
• Messages and custom design requests: for as long as we need them to answer you and finish the work.
• Reseller applications and documents: for as long as you are a reseller. If an application is declined, we delete the documents once we no longer need them.

This site uses an encrypted connection, so what you type is protected on its way to us. Inside the business, only the people who need your information to serve you can see it, and that includes any documents you upload.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever puts your information at real risk of harm, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission, as the law requires.

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• be told how your information is used, which is what this page is for
• see the information we hold about you
• have anything inaccurate corrected
• object to how we use it, including for marketing
• have it erased or blocked when it is no longer needed or was used unlawfully
• get a copy of it in a common electronic format
• claim damages if misuse of your information harms you
• complain to the National Privacy Commission

To use any of these rights, contact us at our contact page. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so your information never goes to the wrong person.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

Our shop is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please shop with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
